Aguli 11-10-22: 47 crore worth of heroin seized in Karimganj on the way to Tripura. On Monday late night, 9 kg 47 grams of heroin in 764 soap boxes were recovered from the Kevin of the truck in a joint operation of Karimganj police station in Assam.
The driver Mohib Uddin was also arrested. His house is in Achimganj area. The recovered heroin was brought from Mizoram to Tripura. The incident happened in the area adjacent to Baba Hotel in Karimganj city.
