Agartala, 29 Jan, 2025: Ministers and MLAs from Tripura have extended their heartfelt wishes to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha after the announcement of the “Gold Medal” by King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Uttar Pradesh. The prestigious award will be conferred upon the top-performing postgraduate student in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, honoring Dr. Saha’s contributions to the field.
• King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Uttar Pradesh, has announced the “Gold Medal”, named after the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha.
• The award has been instituted in recognition of Dr. Manik Saha’s significant contributions to the field of dentistry and oral & maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Saha is an esteemed alumnus of the university.
• The “Gold Medal” will be awarded to the student securing the highest marks in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department during the university’s convocation ceremony.
