Khowai, 28 October: The Office of the District Education Officer, Khowai, recently organized a one-day workshop at the BRC Hall of Khowai Government Higher Secondary School, focusing on CBSE-modeled academic preparation for students of classes 10 and 12 in Vidyajyoti schools. This initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of education and academic readiness of students.
The workshop was inaugurated by Swapan Majumdar, Resource Person from the Vidyajyoti Cell of the Education Department. He provided hands-on training to principals, vice-principals, and CBSE managers from various Vidyajyoti schools, focusing on strategies to improve student outcomes, cultivate interest in studies, and apply CBSE-style assessment methods in each class.
District Education Officer Dinesh Debbarma delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the significance of such workshops in shaping a better future for students. The event was also attended by the Office’s OSD, Rishikesh Debbarma, Khowai School Inspector Praven Kumar Debbarma, and Principal of Kabi Nazrul Higher Secondary School, Bishurai Debbarma.
