Agartala 28 Oct, 2024: State employees waiting for the pending Dearness Allowance (DA) got an update from Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, who acknowledged its significance amid rising living costs. He assured that the state government is carefully reviewing its financial position to release the allowance.
“We understand the needs of our employees,” Dr. Saha stated, “but we must balance this with other fiscal responsibilities.” Although he did not specify a date, Dr. Saha hinted that a decision is likely soon, offering hope to thousands of waiting state employees.
