Agartala, September 29, 2024: In a solemn announcement, it was reported that former IG of the Tripura Police, Arindam Nath, passed away on Saturday morning at 9:55 AM in Bengaluru. He had been battling illness for a prolonged period and breathed his last at the age of 62.
Expressing his deep sorrow, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha conveyed his heartfelt condolences. “Arindam Nath was a dedicated officer who served the state with professionalism and integrity. He was also a respected literary figure. His passing is a great loss to Tripura,” said the Chief Minister. He offered his sympathies to the grieving family and prayed for Nath’s soul to rest in eternal peace.
