June 29,2023: In a distressing incident, a ten-year-old child took their own life in a case of apparent suicide. The police were alerted to the incident last night and rushed to the hospital. According to Officer-in-Charge of Baikhora Police Station in South Tripura, Madhu Mog, the lifeless body of the child was brought to the Jolaibari Social Health Center yesterday evening. Today, after receiving news of the incident, authorities visited the health center to gather more information.
During the questioning of the family members, it was revealed that the child hanged themselves at home last night. Disturbed by the incident, they immediately rushed the child to the Jolaibari Social Health Center. However, the medical professionals there declared the child dead upon examination.
