Aguli 21-04-23: To celebrate the ninth International Yoga Day, a grand event was organized at the auditorium of the Shahartali Haat in the capital city, Agartala. The program was initiated by the Youth Employment Scheme and the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs at the state level. The inauguration of the event was done by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stated that yoga represents the rich Indian tradition and heritage, which helps to bring stability to our minds. He emphasized the significance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being, and encouraged people to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.
At the party level, the International Yoga Day was observed at the NSRCC (National Sports and Recreational Club) in the capital city, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also participated in this event. The party leaders, including Rajib Bhattacharya, the President of the BJP state unit, were present at the event.
