Tripura, 3 Oct 2026: A comprehensive NCC training and exposure programme was organised under the Bir Bikram Ekta Camp, covering SNIC-I and the Akhaura Border, with the participation of SD and SW NCC cadets.
The programme featured physical training, volleyball activities, supervised firing practice, inspection by the Group Commander, felicitation and introduction programmes, NIAP competition activities, and an educational visit to the Akhaura Border.
The cadets enthusiastically participated in physical training and volleyball, focusing on fitness, stamina, teamwork, coordination and discipline.

As part of their NCC training, the SD and SW NCC cadets also took part in supervised firing practice. The activity emphasised concentration, discipline, safety awareness and responsible handling under authorised supervision.
Group Commander Shri Anand Raj Singh visited Bir Bikram Ekta Camp and SNIC-I and interacted with the cadets. He reviewed the training activities and encouraged the cadets to maintain high standards of discipline, fitness and commitment.
A felicitation and introduction programme was also organised to acknowledge the participation and efforts of the cadets. The interaction provided motivation and encouragement to the NCC contingent.

The cadets further participated in the NIAP competition, demonstrating their knowledge, confidence, teamwork and competitive spirit.
As part of the educational exposure, the cadets visited the Akhaura Border, gaining an understanding of the border environment and the responsibilities associated with national security and service to the nation.
The programme provided the participating SD and SW NCC cadets with a balanced experience of physical fitness, military training, leadership, competition, discipline and national awareness. The combined training and field exposure helped strengthen their confidence, teamwork and sense of responsibility, making the programme a valuable learning experience for all participating cadets.
