Tripura, 22 July, 2026: A social media content creator, Gopal Sarkar, popularly known as “Lion Box,” has publicly apologised after allegedly making offensive remarks against the police in a video that triggered widespread criticism online.
According to reports, Sarkar allegedly recorded the video while under the influence of alcohol and made objectionable comments targeting the police. The clip quickly went viral across social media platforms, drawing strong reactions from viewers and prompting widespread condemnation.
