Tripura, 15 June 2026: Dhalai district administration on Monday held an important meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) to review the progress of various government schemes and development projects across the district.
The high-level meeting was held at the conference hall of the District Magistrate’s office in Dhalai district under the chairmanship of East Tripura (ST) Lok Sabha MP Kriti Devi Debbarman.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the implementation and progress of ongoing Central and State Government projects related to rural and urban development, healthcare, education, drinking water supply, and infrastructure. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring timely completion of projects and improving the delivery of government services to the people.
The meeting was attended by Dhalai District Magistrate Vivek H B, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, senior officials from various government departments, and public representatives.
Addressing the meeting, MP Kriti Devi Debbarman stressed that the primary objective is to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the people efficiently and on time. She also directed officials to accelerate the pace of implementation and maintain close monitoring of development works.
The DISHA meeting is expected to play a significant role in enhancing transparency, accountability, and coordination among departments, ultimately contributing to the improvement of living standards and overall development in the district.
