Fatikroy, June 4: ARDD, Fisheries and SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to transforming Fatikroy Market into a modern, well-organized, and people-friendly commercial center that caters to the needs of traders, customers, and local residents alike.
On Thursday, the Minister visited the market area in Fatikroy constituency to assess the existing infrastructure and discuss future development plans. Accompanied by engineers, market traders, local residents, and officials, Das conducted a detailed inspection of the market premises and reviewed various aspects related to its overall improvement.
During the visit, the Minister held discussions with traders and members of the public regarding the challenges faced in the market. Key issues such as cleanliness, traffic congestion, inadequate facilities for shopkeepers, and the need for better market management were highlighted.
