Nepal, 04 June: A remarkable survival story has emerged from Mount Everest, where veteran Sherpa guide Dawa Sherpa was found alive after spending six days stranded in one of the world’s most dangerous high-altitude environments.
Dawa Sherpa, who was among the last climbers descending from Camp 4 on Mount Everest, reportedly became separated and was left behind during the descent. After being missing for nearly a week, he was discovered alive, crawling through the treacherous Khumbu Icefall toward Everest Base Camp.

Despite enduring extreme cold, high-altitude conditions, and severe frostbite, Dawa managed to survive against overwhelming odds. Rescue teams located him and rushed him for medical treatment. He is currently receiving care, and mountaineering communities across the world are expressing hope and prayers for his full recovery.
