Kalyanpur, June 2: In a significant step toward strengthening rural infrastructure, Kalyanpur MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury on Tuesday personally inspected the ongoing construction of the much-awaited road connecting North Kamalnagar with the Maizbhandar SPO Camp. The visit highlighted the government’s commitment to improving connectivity and accelerating development in the constituency.
Accompanied by officials from the concerned departments, the MLA closely reviewed the progress of the construction work and assessed the quality standards being maintained at the project site. During the inspection, he directed officials and contractors to ensure that the road is completed within the stipulated timeframe without compromising on quality.
The road project has generated considerable enthusiasm among local residents, who have long faced difficulties due to poor road conditions. For years, particularly during the monsoon season, muddy and damaged roads made commuting a major challenge for students, patients, traders, and daily commuters. The construction of the new road is expected to significantly ease transportation problems and provide safer, smoother, and more reliable connectivity for the region.
Residents believe the improved road network will do more than facilitate travel. Enhanced connectivity is expected to stimulate economic activities, improve access to educational institutions and healthcare facilities, and strengthen administrative services. Many see the project as a catalyst for broader socio-economic growth and development in the area.
Local people expressed appreciation for the MLA’s hands-on approach and active involvement in monitoring developmental projects. They credited Pinaki Das Choudhury’s leadership and vision for bringing much-needed infrastructure improvements to the constituency.
Expressing gratitude to both the MLA and the state government, residents said that a series of development initiatives undertaken in recent years are steadily transforming Kalyanpur. They voiced hope that the timely completion of the road project would further enhance the quality of life and create new opportunities for the people of the region.
