Agartala, Apr 16. Vote counting for 45 booths under the 26-Birchandranagar-Kalsi constituency of the TTAADC will be held tomorrow under strict three-tier security, officials confirmed.
This was announced by Returning Officer and SDM Shanti Ranjan Chakma during a press conference at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office, where he was accompanied by Assistant Returning Officer Saifuddin Ahmed, who detailed the arrangements.
Security forces including TSR, police and CRPF will be deployed across the counting centre to ensure a peaceful process. District Election Officer and DM Md. Sajad P. inspected the venue and expressed satisfaction with the preparedness.
Authorities said each political party can have up to 50 supporters, who must stay 500 metres away from the counting centre.
Officials asserted that all measures are in place for smooth and disturbance-free counting.
