SHABD, AIR Delhi | December 5: The government has constituted a four-member committee to thoroughly examine the circumstances that have led to disruptions in IndiGo’s flight operations. The panel has been directed to submit its report within 15 days.
According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the committee will investigate the root causes behind the operational disturbances. This includes assessing the airline’s preparedness for implementing flight duty time limitations (FDTL) for crew members.
The committee will also determine accountability for planning failures that may have contributed to instability in flight operations. Additionally, it will evaluate whether the airline is taking adequate corrective measures to restore smooth and reliable flight services.
This review comes amid growing concerns over operational disruptions and aims to ensure that aviation safety and passenger convenience remain uncompromised.
