Tripura, 21 Sep 2025: Under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission, a new target has been set in the current financial year to provide revolving funds to members of 1,210 newly formed Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in West Tripura district for various self-reliant projects.
Among them, 240 SHGs in Bamutia block, 60 in Jirania block, 140 in Mohanpur block, 139 in Old Agartala block, 100 in Hezamara block, 33 in Belbari block, 40 in Lefunga block, 170 in Mandai block, and 288 in Dukli block will receive revolving funds.
So far, members of 337 SHGs have already been provided with these funds. This includes 163 groups in Bamutia block, 26 in Jirania block, 60 in Mohanpur block, 33 in Old Agartala block, 18 in Hezamara block, 5 in Belbari block, 4 in Lefunga block, 12 in Mandai block, and 16 in Dukli block.
It is noteworthy that SHG members are generally provided financial assistance ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 to start various self-reliant ventures. This information was shared by the West Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission.
