Tripura, Feb 22: The Higher Secondary and Secondary examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) are set to begin on February 25 and will continue until March 30, 2026.
In view of the examinations, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kumarghat, N. S. Chakma, has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 to ensure a peaceful and conducive environment around examination centres.
The examinations in Kumarghat Sub-Division will be held at Ramguna Chowdhury Para Higher Secondary School, Nabinchhara Class XII School, Raitwisa Class XII School, Kumarghat Higher Secondary Girls’ School, Fatikroy Class XII School, Purba Kanchanbari High School, and PM Shri Hajibari Class XII School.
As per the order, assembly of five or more persons within a 100-metre radius of the examination centres has been strictly prohibited during the examination period. The use of loudspeakers and sound-amplifying devices has also been banned.
However, the restrictions will not apply to law enforcement agencies, health and emergency services, officials engaged in examination duties, government employees performing official tasks, or movement for emergency medical treatment.
Officials have warned that any violation of the order will attract penal action under Section 223 of the BNSS, 2023.
The prohibitory order will come into effect from 12 noon on February 25, 2026, and will remain in force until 3:15 PM on March 30, 2026.
