Tripura, 18 Feb 2026: In order to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the CBSE Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations 2026, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kailashahar has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
The examinations will be held at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Netaji Vidyapith English Medium Higher Secondary School, and Bhagini Nivedita Girls’ Higher Secondary School under Kailashahar subdivision.
According to the order, from February 17 to April 11, 2026, on examination days, movement of the general public will be restricted within a 200-metre radius of all examination centres between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Only candidates, invigilators, officials, and on-duty police personnel will be allowed entry into these areas.
The order also prohibits carrying of any kind of weapons, sticks, sharp bamboo objects, or firearms within and around the examination centres, except by on-duty law enforcement personnel. Additionally, the use of loudspeakers has been strictly banned during examination hours.
Authorities have warned that any violation of the order will invite legal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
The administration has urged citizens to cooperate in maintaining a peaceful environment for the students appearing in the examinations.
