Bishramganj, Feb 17: The Bishramganj Branch of Tripura Gramin Bank was formally reopened on Tuesday after undergoing a comprehensive infrastructure revamp and relocation to a new premises, marking a significant upgrade in banking services in the region.
The newly shifted branch now features modern banking infrastructure, upgraded customer service facilities and improved amenities aimed at delivering a seamless and efficient banking experience to customers in Bishramganj and adjoining areas.
The revamped premises was inaugurated by Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, District Magistrate of Sepahijala District, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, officials highlighted that the transformation reflects the bank’s continued focus on strengthening financial inclusion and enhancing customer-centric services.
Chairman Satyendra Singh also attended the programme and reiterated the bank’s commitment to infrastructure development, innovation and expansion of quality banking services across Tripura. Under his leadership, the bank has undertaken several initiatives to modernise operations and improve accessibility for customers statewide.
Among others present at the event were Payel Saha, Regional Manager, RO South; Rajeev Nayan, Chief Manager (GSAD & Marketing); Bibhash Singha, Senior Manager, RO South; and Badri Sankar Roy Choudhury, Senior Manager of the Bishramganj Branch.
