Tripura, Feb 14, 2026: The Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class 10) and Senior Secondary Examination (Class 12) will commence from February 17, 2026, at Bir Bikram Institution in Dharmanagar and will continue till April 4, 2026.
To ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the examinations, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Dharmanagar has imposed certain restrictions in the areas surrounding the examination centre. The order has been issued under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
As per the directive, the restrictions will remain in force only on the days of examination and during examination hours.
According to the order, gathering of four or more persons in and around the examination centre is strictly prohibited. Any form of procession, rally, vehicle rally, public speech, slogan shouting, or similar activities will not be allowed without prior permission.
The order further states that more than two vehicles will not be allowed to move together in the restricted zone. Carrying weapons, sticks, or any similar objects, either by hand or in vehicles, has also been strictly banned. The use of loudspeakers in the vicinity of the examination centre has been prohibited as well.
However, the restrictions will not apply to teachers and staff engaged in examination duties, Executive Magistrates, examinees, and security personnel.
The administration has warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the order.
