Agartala: Feb 12. A one-day awareness program under the Pradhan Mantri- Vishwakarma Yojana was held today in Dharmanagar, targeting MSME beneficiaries. The program aimed to inform and guide entrepreneurs on financial support, business development, and marketing strategies under the scheme.
The event was organized by the MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Agartala, in collaboration with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, the District Collector and Magistrate of North Tripura, and the District Industries Centre (DIC), North Tripura. It took place at the Ardendu Bhattacharya Smriti Bhavan in Dharmanagar.
Key topics discussed during the program included entrepreneur development, market trends, pricing and sales strategies, product development, packaging, labeling, design, and selling products through e-commerce platforms. Financial literacy sessions covered banking, loans, and financial assistance, with special focus on loan-related issues for PM Vishwakarma Yojana beneficiaries.
Notable attendees included Prasun Kanti Das, Lead District Manager, Harshavardhan Kanakala, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO, Agartala, Mrityunjay Chakraborty, Young Professional, MSME-DFO, Aparna Nath Zilla Sabhadhipati, Sajal Kumar Das, General Manager, DIC, North Tripura, Jayjit Sharma, President, Industrial Standing Committee, Kajol Das, Domain Expert, among others.
A total of 120 beneficiaries participated in the awareness program, gaining practical insights into entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and MSME scheme benefits.
