Agartala, Nov 25 2025: The Second Northeast Industry and Trade Fair is set to take place at Agartala Children’s Park from November 21 to December 7, 2025, organisers announced on Friday.
At a press briefing, Universal Advertising Agency and the Tripura Industries Owners’ Association said the event is being jointly organised with support from IITA. TIOTA secretary Pal Gopal Saha, Universal Advertising Agency owner Raj Chowdhury and Ashok Roy were present.
Saha said the earlier Universal Expo at the same venue drew strong public response and that several manufacturing units from Tripura and other northeastern states are expected this year. The fair aims to offer a single platform showcasing products from across the region.
Chowdhury added that exhibitors from nearly 22–23 states will join, along with international stalls from Afghanistan and Thailand. Daily cultural programmes will be held in the evenings, and Jamdani products will also be available.
He said Bangladesh has not been invited to participate this time.
