Agartala: Nov 16. The sealed petrol pump of M/S Biswas & Sons at Old Motor Stand here, has been ordered to reopen after the District Magistrate & Collector of West Tripura, Dr. Vishal Kumar, withdrew the earlier closure directive issued on October 24, 2025. The pump had been shut and sealed at 3:23 PM the same day by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar.
As per the fresh order dated 15 November 2025, the SDM, Sadar, has been instructed to open and unseal the petrol pump immediately, ensuring all codal formalities and the presence of the dealer during the process.
The withdrawal of the previous order effectively clears the way for the fuel outlet to resume operations without delay.
