Agartala: Nov 13. In a significant administrative reshuffle in the state’s higher education department, the Government of Tripura has appointed Dr. Jaydip Bhattacharya, Associate Professor of Mathematics at BBM College, Agartala, as the new Secretary of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE).
According to an official memorandum issued on Thursday, Dr. Bhattacharya will assume charge immediately following the reversion of the incumbent Secretary, Dr. Dulal Dey, to his parent institution, BBM College. Dr. Dey, who had been serving as Secretary of TBSE, will be relieved after the formal handover of responsibilities to his successor.
The order, signed by Animesh Debbarma, Additional Secretary to the Government of Tripura, on behalf of the Governor, directed the Principal-in-charge of BBM College to release Dr. Bhattacharya at once to enable him to take over the new role without delay.
As per the memorandum, Dr. Bhattacharya will continue to hold his substantive post as Associate Professor, with his pay and allowances to be managed by the Head of Office, BBM College, Agartala.
This administrative move is seen as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations within the Tripura Board of Secondary Education and ensure smoother academic administration across the state.
