Agartala: Nov 12. In a rare turn of events, the LD Court of Sabroom has ordered the confiscation of the Station Master’s chair and several other properties at Sabroom Railway Station after Indian Railways allegedly failed to clear dues amounting to ₹1.6 crore within the stipulated time.
Following the court’s directive, two court officials visited the Sabroom Railway Station on Tuesday to carry out the confiscation process. The move came in response to a petition filed by an applicant who had been awaiting payment from Indian Railways for an extended period.
