Agartala: Nov 08. The district-level Sports Meet 2025 for North Tripura began today at the BBI Ground, Dharmanagar, organized by MY BHARAT in collaboration with Adarsha Sangha. The two-day sporting event brings together youth and athletes from all three blocks of the district to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership among young participants.
The meet features a range of competitions including volleyball, badminton, slow cycling, tug of war, long jump, and shot put, among others.
The event was inaugurated by North Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, in the presence of Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairperson Mitali Rani Das Sen, social worker Kajal Das, and Assistant Director of Youth Affairs & Sports Department Bhibabasu Goswami, along with other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, the guests highlighted the vital role of sports in guiding youth towards a healthy, disciplined, and purposeful life. The competitions will continue till tomorrow.
