Agartala: Nov 02. The National Commission for Women (NCW), New Delhi, will organize a “Rashtriya Mahila Aayog Aapke Dwar – Mahila Jan Sunwai” programme at Dharmanagar Circuit House, North Tripura, on November 6, 2025, starting from 10 a.m.
The hearing will be chaired by Dr. Archana Majumdar, Member, NCW. During the event, 17 pending complaints related to women’s issues from North Tripura, Gomati, South Tripura, West Tripura, and Unakoti districts covering cases registered between 2020 and 2025 will be taken up. These cases are currently under consideration with the respective police authorities.
The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure speedy and effective resolution of women-related complaints and to provide a direct platform for complainants to interact with district administration and police officials.
In addition to scheduled cases, the Commission will also accept and hear new “walk-in” complaints on the day of the event.
The NCW has urged all women in the region to take advantage of this opportunity for grievance redressal and to participate actively in the programme.
