Tripura, 31 Oct 2025: Once again, Baijalbari Police Station has achieved success. Barely 24 hours after their previous double success against narcotics, the Baijalbari police have seized Eskaf (narcotic tablets) worth over ₹36 lakh. One person, identified as Sanjit Debbarma, a resident of Mokam Para under Lefunga Police Station, has been arrested.

According to reports, a Bolero pickup truck bearing registration number TR01AX1543 was intercepted at a naka checkpoint while travelling from Teliamura to Agartala via Khowai. Upon thorough inspection, police recovered over 4,400 Eskaf tablets, with an estimated market value exceeding ₹36 lakh.
Baijalbari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jugal Tripura stated that such anti-narcotics drives will continue in the future as well.
