Tripura, 29 Oct 2025: Under the initiative of the Khowai District Administration, a total of 627 beneficiary tribal families across various blocks in the district have been provided with permanent houses under the PM JANMAN Scheme.
According to the Khowai District Magistrate’s Office, among these beneficiaries, 606 tribal families are from Mungiakami Block, 1 family from Padmabil Block, 1 family from Teliamura Block, and 19 families from Tulashikhar Block.
Each house has been constructed at a cost of ₹2 lakh, ensuring better housing facilities for tribal beneficiaries in the district.
