Agartala, October 21, 2025: BJP MP and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has launched a fierce attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, describing her behaviour as “demon-like” and alleging that her government has lost all sense of humanity and morality.
Deb’s Sharp Remarks Against Mamata Banerjee
While interacting with the media, Deb said that under Mamata Banerjee’s leadership, West Bengal has become a state where “murders, rapes, and arson” occur frequently, yet the administration remains silent.
“She behaves like a demon. I feel someone has taken her heart out she has no compassion left. A woman usually symbolizes care and love, but she has disgraced even the meaning of her own name, Mamata,” Deb said.
The BJP MP alleged widespread corruption and land mafia activity in Kolkata, claiming that several houses in the Kalighat area are owned by Banerjee’s relatives.
“Her family members are involved in land grabbing. I don’t even want to utter her name anymore Bengal must be freed from such demonic forces,” he added.
‘People Will Free Bengal’
Deb expressed confidence that the people of West Bengal are ready for political change.
“The public pulse is clear. The people are tired of hooliganism and corruption. This time Bengal will rise and free itself,” he said, pledging that the BJP will continue its fight to restore human values and justice in the state.
Political Context
Deb’s remarks come amid heightened tensions between the BJP and Trinamool Congress (TMC) as both parties prepare for the upcoming elections. Political observers say the war of words is intensifying, reflecting the growing competition for control over Bengal’s political landscape.
