Agartala, October 16, 2025: Swarnakamal Jewellers, one of Tripura’s most trusted and reputed jewellery brands, hosted the Prize Distribution Ceremony of “Sharadargya 2025” the fifth edition of its signature Sharad Samman initiative celebrating the spirit of Durga Puja. The grand event was held at the Press Club, Agartala yesterday, and recognised various Durga Puja committees for their creativity, devotion, and cultural contributions during the festive season.
This year, 10 clubs from West Tripura were felicitated on October 15, while 5 clubs from Gomati District will be honoured on October 16. Each participating club received a specially crafted Durga Maa Trophy, symbolising the spirit of Sharadargya and the divine essence of Durga Puja.
The top three clubs from Agartala and top two clubs from Gomati District were also awarded special cash prizes for their outstanding performances and contributions to community celebrations.
The event’s Chief Guest, Shri Gopal Chandra Nag, Founder & Chairman of Swarnakamal Jewellers, presented the awards and extended warm festive greetings to the people of Tripura, wishing them a joyful Dhanteras and Diwali.
Reiterating Swarnakamal Jewellers’ commitment to social responsibility, Shri Nag highlighted the company’s successful 1,000-tree plantation drive completed in August 2025 and announced a pledge to plant 2,100 more trees by next year, inspiring citizens to join hands in building a greener Tripura.
