Two Bangladeshi Nationals and Two Indian Agents Detained by 199th Battalion of Border Security Force
Tripura, 24 April 2025: The 199th Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) detained two Bangladeshi nationals from the Dharmanagar ISBT area. One of the detained individuals has been identified as Mohammad Noor, 22, son of Jalil Ekna, and the other as Mohammad Elamin Hawlader, 24, son of Mohammad Shahidul Hawlader. Both are residents of the Rajapur Sadar Police Station area in Khulna district, Bangladesh -Yesterday around 12 PM.

Along with them, two Indian agents were also apprehended. One of them is Swapan Gwala, 46, son of Renu Gwala, a resident of Ward No. 1, Sumarumukh area under Kailashahar Police Station in Unakoti district.
The other is Bidhan Deb, 25, son of Gulu Deb, from Ward No. 1 of Bhadrapalli in Unakoti district. It has been learned that they entered India via Kailashahar and were planning to travel to Chennai in search of work. The Dharmanagar Police have registered a case under the Passport Act and are conducting an investigation.
According to Officer-in-Charge Sitikant Bardhan of Dharmanagar Police Station, the accused will be produced in court today.
