Tripura, April 23: In view of the upcoming Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled for April 27, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kumarghat Subdivision has imposed Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 to ensure smooth conduct of the exam.
The Tripura Teachers’ Recruitment Board (TRBT) will conduct the TET exam on Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the following centers in Kumarghat subdivision Kumarghat Higher Secondary Girls’ School, Fatikroy Higher Secondary School, Pabiachhara Higher Secondary School As per the order, gatherings of five or more people will be prohibited within a 100-meter radius of the examination centers during the exam hours. Use of loudspeakers or any sound amplification devices will also be restricted in these areas.
However, the order exempts law enforcement agencies, healthcare workers, emergency service personnel, and staff directly involved in conducting the TET exam. Government employees on essential duty and individuals transporting patients for urgent medical care are also exempted from this restriction.
Violators of the order will be prosecuted under Section 223 of BNSS-2023, and appropriate legal action will be taken. These restrictions will remain in force from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on April 27, 2025, according to an official release from the Office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Kumarghat.
