Over 1,270 delegates join hands to promote “One Health” vision for a healthier nation
Srinagar, April 15: The 52nd Annual National Conference of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSMCON-2025) concluded today at the Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar, drawing participation from over 1,270 delegates from across the country. The three-day conference centered around the theme “Integrative Approaches for Comprehensive Care in One Health”, underscoring the importance of collaborative, cross-disciplinary strategies to tackle public health challenges.
Organized by the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at GMC Srinagar, the event brought together public health experts, medical professionals, academicians, researchers, and policy-makers to deliberate on innovative strategies for holistic healthcare delivery.
The conference promoted the slogan “One Nation, One Health, One World”, highlighting the need for synchronized efforts between human, animal, and environmental health sectors.
