Agartala 18 September, 2024: In today’s “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” program, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha once again engaged with the public, addressing various issues at his official residence. People approached the CM with concerns regarding healthcare, infrastructure development, and more. The program is known for its open dialogue with citizens and helps them find solutions to their problems.
Biki Rishidas from Purba Pratapgarh sought assistance for his cancer treatment. Responding promptly, the Chief Minister directed the Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital in Agartala to arrange for the necessary medical treatment.
In another case, Bhajan Sarkar from Lankamura requested help for his son’s heart ailment. The CM assured him of medical assistance.
A few citizens from Reshambagan raised concerns about the deterioration of Manikya Sagar Lake and requested its maintenance. The CM instructed Urban Development Secretary Kiran Gitte to send a team to assess the situation immediately. Similarly, citizens from West Bhuvanban, including Pritam Das, brought attention to the poor condition of roads in their area.
Other attendees, like Khokon Biswas from Madhya Pratapgarh, Ujjwala Biswas from Bishalgarh, and Niranjan Debnath from Jogendranagar, approached the CM for medical aid. The Chief Minister promptly consulted with the Superintendent of GB Hospital to ensure they receive the necessary treatment within the state.
Present at the event were CM’s Secretary Dr. P K Chakraborty, Health and Urban Development Secretary Kiran Gitte, Secretary L Darlong, Director of Social Education and Social Welfare Tapan Das, GB Hospital Superintendent Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, and Cancer Hospital Superintendent S Debbarma.
