Agartala 08 August, 2024: Parents of students at Maharani Tulsibati Girls’ School are expressing concerns and frustration over the school’s revised schedule. Previously, classes for nursery and KG-1 were held from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM. However, the new schedule now extends these classes from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Parents argue that such a long duration is too much for young children. They question how these young students will manage to stay engaged and active for four hours at school.
One concerned parent stated, “We want to understand the reason behind this sudden change. It is challenging for such young kids to spend extended hours at school, which can affect their physical and mental well-being. We urge the school administration to reconsider this schedule and take our concerns into account.”
When approached for a comment, the school principal explained, “The new schedule aims to enhance the quality of education and involve children more in school activities. However, we are taking the parents’ concerns seriously and will discuss with them to find a suitable solution.”
Parents believe that the new schedule is unnecessary and places undue stress on their children. They are seeking a swift resolution to the issue and are awaiting a satisfactory response from the school authorities.
