Agartala, July 9, 2024: Union Minister of State for Tourism, Petroleum, and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi has arrived in Tripura for a three-day state visit. He was warmly welcomed at MBB Airport by the state’s Director of Tourism and other high-ranking officials.
During this three-day visit, Suresh Gopi will engage in discussions about the state’s tourism potential and infrastructure development. On the first day, he will head to the State Guest House for a meeting with the Tourism Department. Following this, he will visit the Tripura State Museum Ujjayanta Palace and inspect the India-Bangladesh border check-post.
Facing the media, Suresh Gopi said, “The central government is fully committed to supporting the development of Tripura’s tourism sector. We are determined to showcase the state’s heritage and culture to tourists worldwide.”
This visit holds the potential for significant changes in Tripura’s tourism sector. The Union Minister’s tour is expected to bring a new dimension to the state’s tourism industry, according to local residents.
