Agartala, July 3, 2024: In a significant step towards transparent governance, the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) awarded job appointments to 474 candidates today. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha handed over the appointment letters at a ceremony held at the Panchayati Raj Training Institute in Arundhutinagar.
During his speech, Chief Minister Saha emphasized the government’s commitment to transparency and merit-based recruitment. He stated, “Our administration is dedicated to transparent and fair practices in all its operations. The selection process has been rigorous and unbiased, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals are appointed.”
The event saw the distribution of appointment letters for various positions including 2 CDPOs and 34 ICDS Supervisors in the Social Welfare and Social Education Department, 395 Panchayat Executive Officers in the Panchayat Department, and 43 PA Grade II in the GA Department.
Chief Minister Saha added, “The recipients of these appointments have proven their qualifications through a transparent selection process. As they join the government workforce, they are expected to uphold the principles of integrity and contribute significantly to the development of Tripura.”
Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha also addressed the newly appointed candidates, urging them to dedicate themselves to public service with sincerity and diligence. He highlighted the importance of their roles in delivering various government services to the public.
Other dignitaries present at the ceremony included MLA Meena Rani Sarkar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Panchayat Secretary Rawal Hemendra Kumar, and Secretary of the Social Welfare and Social Education Department Tapas Ray.
The Chief Minister personally handed over appointment letters to 27 candidates from three departments.
