Agartala 01 June, 2024: A newborn child of Saheb Ali and his wife Jannatul Ferdous, residents of Sonamura, faced complications shortly after birth. The baby was born on May 8th at Melaghar Hospital and appeared healthy on the first day. However, the next day, the infant began vomiting, prompting the hospital to refer the baby to IGM Hospital. After conducting tests, IGM Hospital referred the baby to Hapania Hospital due to the severity of the condition.
Upon arrival at Hapania Hospital, Dr. Basak examined the infant and discovered that the intestines were twisted. He promptly decided to perform surgery. Over the course of two hours, Dr. Basak and his team successfully completed the operation.
Post-surgery, the baby is now in stable condition. Dr. Basak has indicated that the infant will likely be discharged from the hospital within a day or two.
The family has expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Basak and his team for their dedicated efforts, which have given their baby a new lease on life.
