Agartala, May 13: A horrific incident unfolded in the ARF Tila area of Dhajanagar in Udaipur , where a woman brutally murdered her husband. The victim has been identified as Namita Dey (36), while her accused husband is named Ashis Dey (45).
According to reports, suspicion had been lingering for quite some time between Ashis De and his wife Namita Dey. The suspicion arose from an alleged illicit relationship between the couple. This suspicion reached its peak when Namita Dey lost her life in a tragic incident.
Namita Dey and Ashis Dey had been married for 19 years, residing in the Rangamudra area of Radhanagar. They had two sons and a daughter. The heinous act took place while the children were asleep, and Namita Dey was allegedly murdered by her husband using a sharp object.
Upon receiving news of the incident, the police rushed to the scene and apprehended Ashis Dey, taking him into custody at the Radha Kishorepur Police Station (Udaipur). The severity of this brutal incident deeply affected the father-in-law, who suffered a cardiac arrest at the scene and passed away.
This shocking incident occurred on Monday afternoon in the Uttar Durganagar village under the jurisdiction of Khowai Police Station. The police have arrested the accused husband, Anup Sen (32), within a short time of the incident.
