It was because of Samir Ranjan Barman that the Communists came to power in Tripura. The Congress, led by this father and son duo, has openly aligned with the CPIM. This is why, it was impossible to cast away Communists from the state, slammed former Chief Minister of Tripura, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP nominated candidate for West Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb while addressing in an election campaign at Nalchar. On this day, the campaign began with a road show from Shanti Palli of Sonamura to Notun Bazar.
He said, the Communists would have never got a chance to come to power in Tripura, if the Burmans had not supported them. It was them who have given that opportunity out of their own personal interest. Their behind-the-scenes affinity with the Communists is now as clear as water to the people of the state. Even Tripura Pradesh Congress President, Ashish Kumar Saha also has adapted the communist gene. The Rajya Sabha MP remarked that sensible people of the state will answer them in a democratic manner in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The RS MP also said, it was only because of Tipra Motha that CPIM State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury became an MLA. He also got the post of a Leader of the Opposition because of TIPRA Motha. He was praised as long as, TIPRA Chairman Pradyut Kishore Debbarma kept the door open for discussions. However, soon after learning about their true form, when TIPRA Chairman joined hands with the BJP to ensure welfare of the indigenous people of the state, the communist leaders started playing dirty politics by blaming TIPRA Chairman and his family.
The Communist leaders who slammed East Tripura candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma as an outsider, actually their party and policy ideology all came from China. In the past 25 years, the communists have completely failed to develop the socio-economic living standards of the people of the state. Their only motive was to develop their party office and the party by keeping the people deprived. They have given the false hope of a golden state to the entire country by neglecting Tripura in the name of overall development.
He further said, due to political violence of Congress and Communists,
many mothers including Bir Chandra Manu have lost their children. Including involving in murders, they have only formed an evil alliance of narrow political interests. The fratricidal riots among communities led to loss of several lives and left so many people homeless. Those who illegally gave jobs to 10,323 teachers and the leaders of the party who took the initiative to file a case to cancel these jobs are now on the same platform, which has led the future of thousands into darkness.
RS MP Biplab Kumar Deb called on people to make the wise use of democratic voting rights in the Lok Sabha by breaking all the records of the Assembly elections and said, the public chosen state government works only for the welfare of the state. However, the future and direction of the entire country depends upon who will be the next Prime Minister and under whom the Central government will be formed.
He said, in the past 10 years, PM Narendra Modi has built the country as a World leader. With the upliftment of the national economy, everyone’s lives has changed with the help of different projects which reached till the last person of the society. The opposition has started communist politics to disrupt this fliw of development. Ahead of the 2018 assembly elections, it was spread in campaigns that if the BJP came to power in Tripura, minorities persecution would begin. But nothing such happened. Moreover, minorities are progressing with dignity in every field including education and government jobs. The central government has taken several strong steps for the welfare of minority Muslims including triple talaq. The central state government has worked to protect the rights of all. Communists could not increase the allowance from 300 to not more than 500 rupees in Tripura. In comparison to that, after 2018, the new government has increased allowance to 2 thousand rupees in such short period of time. Those whose political future is itself dark, they are trying to mislead the people of the state.
