Agartala, February 24 – The inauguration of the Seventh Youth Festival in the North East region and the anticipation of participating in the seven-day competitive event have brought smiles to the faces of the people. This festival is organized to herald a new phase in the lives of the youth of the North Eastern region.
The North East Youth Festival will commence on February 26 at 3 p.m. at the Purbasha Urban Haat premises in Agartala. The festival will run until February 29. During this time, youth will participate in competitive events including yoga, folk dance, martial arts, painting, photography, musical instruments, and folk music.
A total of 845 delegates from 8 states of the North Eastern region will partake in this youth festival, including 246 young men and 176 young women.
The minister mentioned that these four-day events will take place at various venues including the Agartala Purbasha Urban Hat Premises, Nazrul Kalakshetra, Town Hall, and Rabindra Centenary Building.
Names of participants in the festival will be registered at the Bhagat Singh Youth Home in Agartala on February 25.
