Agartala, 27 Dec 2023: On Wednesday, a group of students who recently passed the Bachelor of Education (BED) staged a protest at the Scheduled Castes Welfare Department office, pressing their demand for scholarships. The students have been advocating for scholarships from the department for an extended period and have vowed to continue their protest until their demands are addressed.
The protesting students, with placards and banners in hand, gathered in front of the department’s office to draw attention to their long-standing plea for financial assistance. The demonstration is a culmination of their frustration over the prolonged delay in scholarship disbursement.
