Agartala 27 Dec, 2023: In a commendable achievement, three talented youths from Tripura, Diptanu Sarkar of Dhaleshwar, Tanya Das of Konaban, and Rishma Sheel from Dhalai district, have secured positions as nurses in Japan following successful training facilitated by the State Government’s Skill Development Department. Their journey was celebrated during a ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ program at Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s official residence, where the Chief Minister personally congratulated each of them for their accomplishments.
Undergoing nine months of intensive nursing training in Delhi, organized by the Skill Development Department, the trio, who had previously completed their BSc nursing course at Tripura Medical College, is set to commence their professional endeavors in health institutions in Kyoto, Japan, starting January next year.
The Chief Minister, Dr. Manik Saha, extended his felicitations during the courtesy meeting, emphasizing the significance of such international opportunities for the state’s youth. Sanjay Chakraborty, the Director of Skill Development Department, was also present, underlining the collaborative efforts that made this achievement possible.
In a separate engagement, newly appointed young IAS officers in the state engaged in a courtesy interview with Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. Simultaneously, state administration officers who were promoted from TCS/TPS to IAS and IPS ranks paid a courtesy call, fostering a spirit of cooperation and shared dedication to expediting government initiatives. The Hon’ble Chief Minister expressed his expectations for increased collaboration from officials to accelerate the pace of government projects.
