The race starts from the Mahatma Gandhi school ground. Rajeev Bhattacharya, President of Epura Gymnastics Association, District President Antara Dev Sarkar Purnigam Councilor Sukhmoy Saha and Anjana Das started the race by waving the flag. 117 contestants participated in both boys and girls categories. At the end of the race, the guests gave cash prizes to the winners.
