Aguli 02-08-2022: Tripura state cabinet has announced five percent gratuity to state government employees. The state cabinet meeting on Tuesday decided to give 5% dearness allowance. Information and Culture Minister Sushant Chowdhury told reporters after the cabinet meeting. He said the Cabinet meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. This decision will be effective from July 1. He said that 523 crore rupees will be spent every year from the treasury of the state government. Minister Sushant Chowdhury said that 104 crore 76 lakh rupees are required from the government treasury to pay 1% DA and 530 crore 80 lakh rupees for 5% DA.
He said that a large number of employees of the state will benefit from this. Besides pensioners, family pensioners will also get five percent DR. He said that in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, several appointments were made in various departments. Port has decided to recruit 200 junior engineers. Out of this 100 posts will be recruited from Diploma Engineers and 100 posts will be filled from Degree Engineers. The Cabinet meeting on Tuesday accepted the proposal to amend the Tripura Media Creation Guidelines. A total of 300 people in the state will be issued accreditation cards. There are 178 old people.
Minister Sushant Chowdhury said that in all 300 people will be given new government recognition letters. In a press conference after the Cabinet meeting, the Information and Culture Minister said that the state has decided to overhaul the public distribution system. From now on, 200 gram packets of soybeans will be given every month in the public distribution system. He said that decision will be effective before Puja. The State Cabinet has decided to fill up sixteen new posts in the Information and Culture Department.
Of these, there are four posts of Assistant Director and six posts of SIO He informed that 100 staff nurses will be appointed in the health department. From now on, every office in the state will present its work report to the journalists every month.
