Agartala 19 July,2024: In a shocking incident today, a powerful explosion caused the collapse of a residential building opposite the Agartala Fire Brigade Chowmuhani Police Headquarters. The blast took place at the home of Dr. Biswajit Sutradhar and Rupa Sutradhar, causing significant structural damage.
The explosion led to the collapse of the inner and side walls of the house, resulting in the building falling from two floors. Dr. Biswajit Sutradhar managed to escape unharmed, but his wife, Rupa Sutradhar, is in critical condition and is currently receiving treatment at GB Hospital.
The cause of the explosion remains a mystery. Dr. Sutradhar stated that he and his wife were asleep when the blast occurred, leading to the sudden collapse of the walls. Authorities are still investigating the incident to determine the source of the explosion and how it caused such extensive damage.
Remarkably, there was another individual on the first floor of the house visiting his mother. Both the visitor and his mother escaped without injuries.
