In a show of unified strength and political solidarity, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tipra Motha, and Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) orchestrated a monumental gathering in Kumarghat, Unakoti district. The event aimed to bolster support for BJP candidates contesting in the East and West Tripura constituencies.
Addressing the fervent crowd, Union Home Minister Amit Shah underscored the significance of the tripartite agreement inked by the Government of India, the State administration, and leaders of the Tipra Motha party. Highlighting the government’s dedication to tribal development, Shah revealed a staggering surge in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs budget from Rs 24,000 crore to a monumental Rs 1,25,000 crore under PM Modi’s stewardship.
Echoing Shah’s sentiments, ‘Bubagra’ Pradyot Manikya implored supporters to cast their ballots in defense of future generations’ interests and as a resounding message of liberation from the CPI-M’s stronghold.
The grand event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, TMP Chief B.K. Hrangkhawl, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Minister Animesh Debbarma, Sukla Charan Noatia, BJP candidate Biplab Kumar Deb, and Kriti Singh Debbarman, among others.
