Aguli 20 May 23: Minister Sudhanshu Das visited several places of Shantir Bazar assembly constituency.
Minister Sudhanshu Das visited several places in the Shantir Bazar assembly constituency during his two-day visit to South Tripura. He is working for the overall development of the state and employment of the unemployed.
On the second day of his visit, Minister Sudhanshu Das visited the Birchandra Manu pig farm in the Shantir Bazar sub-division. He also met with the members of a self-help group run by TRM in the Birchandra Manu area. Twenty members of this self-help group are raising pigs. In a few months, they will see the profitable aspects of this pig farming.
During his visit, Minister Sudhanshu Das told the media that he is working to increase the production of milk, eggs, fish, and meat in the state. He also said that the Department of Fisheries and Livestock Development is working to provide employment to youths who are below the eighth standard or whose time limit for getting jobs has passed. This is an effort to make them financially sustainable.
Minister Sudhanshu Das is trying to find employment for the unemployed through these offices to make it possible for everyone to get a job. He said that he will stay in each district for two days in a month. On one day, he will meet with the officials of all departments in a discussion meeting. On the next day, he will talk to people through field visits.
Minister Sudhanshu Das is working to increase people’s interest in fish farming and animal husbandry. When he visited the Birchandra Manu area, the minister found that the veterinary office was closed after 12 noon. He immediately sent a department official to the staff working in the veterinary department.
After visiting the Birchandra Manu area, Minister Sudhanshu Das visited the Shantir Bazar SC Baraj Hostel and the Shantir Bazar 12th Class School. He gave some detailed information to the media about his program for the day.
