Agartala 23-03-23: The Chief Minister Professor Dr Manik Saha before election and even after election has said it clearly that the state government believes in development of the state. There are different types of developments which has been seen in the last few months.
It was also said that no negligence will be tolerated in terms of development in the state. Hence the Central Government is also keenly making sure that overall development of the state takes place while the pace of work has become better due to the Double Engine Government.
The work of four lane National Highway from Churaibari to Agartala is also taking place very quickly. The Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has also given emphasis to the same so that work in the state is completed at a fast pace.
A total of Rs 210.54 crores were allotted by him so that the two lane NH- 108B from Agartala to Khowai is constructed and developed in a proper way. A total of Rs 2026.05 crores has also been sanctioned for another 4 lane with paved shoulder Agartala bypass ( Western Side, length – 25.402Km) and it will be connecting NH-8(near Amtali) to NH- 108 B ( near Lembuchhera).
